Bandwagon Merchandise is looking for a customer service and sales representative.

The immediate responsibility of this position is customer service. Business hours are 9 am to 5 pm.  This is a full time office position.

Qualifications of an acceptable candidate:

• Attentive to details.
• Highly organized.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma / GED equivalent.
• Patience. Patience. Patience.
• Customer Service / Sales experience mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience in Screen Printing are a huge plus but not mandatory.

Job responsibilities are as follows:

• Answering phones, greeting customers and directing them appropriately.
• Communicating with clients regarding orders via phone and e-mail.
• Processing new orders.
• Creating invoices for clients / tracking payment.
• Office organization.
• Educating customers on the printing process and the various services we offer.

At this point the conversation ceased. Most of these scams involve purchasing of blank shirts with a next day air shipment to be paid for with a stolen credit card. This would-be thief decided to capitalize on the goodwill of others in hopes to unload these so shortly after the literal wave of devastation that has hit Japan.

Further research (err… google search for attached e.mail) leads one to this fine article in which our very same Abby Thomas was sending messages to food establishments in hopes to get enough chicken and beef shawarma to feed 150 people.

While listening to the latest death metal cover of the song this morning we were inspired. So without further adue.. the Rebecca Black Flag shirt.

We’ve made the shirt in both black and white.  Selling for only $10 with postage and handling built right into the price.  Can’t really beat that.  With this you’ll also see another one of our new creations – PopularVirus.com The home of the dumb internet meme shirts we’ll come up with in the future.  If you could help us out and tell your friends we’d greatly appreciate it.

These past few quarters you may have noticed prices increasing throughout the marketplace and there’s a lot of speculation across forums that these issues are going to get worse. The upticks in bellwethers like the Baltic Dry Index and the recent retreat in the futures markets leaves me hopeful that the trend may not only halt but potentially reverse.

We will have to weather out this storm of higher prices though. Most mills purchase their cotton seasons in advance in hopes that the current pricing is at a relative low point and mills purchasing right now will be reflecting higher prices when these goods go to market in months to come. There are also plenty of speculators in the marketplace at the finished good level buying up stock where they can before another series of price increases hits us. This can do things to adversely affect prices by showing more demand in the short term than what is actually there.

As our vendors increase prices we will do what we can to keep you competitive in the marketplace by offering up the best value blanks at the time, and pass along any vendor specials to help save you money.

After the initial sketches were approved we moved onto painting the beast.

The final product seems to have pleased all.  We did our best to capture all of the bands on the tour and communicate the sound of the tour.  Here’s the final product.
